Motion carried, 6 ayes — 0 nays. <br />19. Discuss and possibly act on removal of Director of Directors from the Paris Economic <br />Development Corporation Board of Directors pursuant to Sec. 4.11 of the Bylaws of the <br />Paris Economic Development Corporation. <br />Council Pilgrim said the city attorney told him that all five board members should have <br />been informed about this item, in writing and seven days in advance. He said the item needed to <br />be tabled. Council Member Hughes inquired if the bylaws required they be notified in writing. <br />City Attorney Stephanie Harris said it was not required but it was the best practice. Council <br />Member Hughes said this had been going on for several weeks and all of the board members <br />knew about it. Council Member Knox wanted to know why the City Council was just learning <br />this information. Council Member Pilgrim said he received an e-mail from the city attorney on <br />Thursday informing him. <br />
