EXTENSION OF LEASE <br />THE STATE OF TEXAS § <br />COUNTY OF LAMAR § <br />KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS <br />WHEREAS, Carey Eatherly and Ryan Eatherly of Paris, Lamar County, Texas <br />enjoy an existing agricultural lease agreement with the City of Paris for approximately <br />350 tillable acres of land in and around the runways and taxiways of Cox Field, <br />utilized solely for growing hay; and <br />WHEREAS, Carey Eatherly and Ryan Eatherly's current lease was for a period <br />of five (5) years, beginning January 1, 2016 and ending December 31, 2020; and <br />WHEREAS, Carey Eatherly and Ryan Eatherly desire to extend their lease for <br />an additional five (5) years effective January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2025; and <br />WHEREAS, the city council of the City of Paris, acting in open session on July <br />13, 2020, approved a five (5) year lease extension, retaining all other requirements <br />of the current lease, and authorized its City Manager to execute said lease extension; <br />This EXTENSION OF LEASE is hereby made by and between the City of Paris, <br />Texas, a home rule municipal corporation, and Carey Eatherly and Ryan Eatherly of <br />Paris, Lamar County, Texas. <br />EXECUTED on this 13th day of July, 2020. <br />THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS LESSEES <br />Grayson Path, City Manager Carey Eatherly <br />Ryan Eatherly <br />ATTEST: <br />Janice Ellis, City Clerk <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />Stephanie H.
