<br />Specific Responsibilities of Hospital <br />1. Full cooperation on the part of Hospital to help <br />insure the success of the program. <br />2. Furnish space for parking <br />ambulances furnished by City at or near <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />ambulance or <br />its emergency <br /> <br />entrance. <br /> <br />3. As much cl in ical exper ience as poss i ble for the <br />City employees in connection with Hospital's Emergency <br />Department and care of patients therein, said employees to <br />remain in the emergency department area at all times and to <br />be free to leave at any time they are dispatched by the City <br />to carry out their ambulance service. <br />4. Permit the employees of the City to remain in the <br />vicinity of its emergency department while on active duty <br />and to provide sleeping facilities at the hospital while on <br />stand-by duty. <br /> <br />Joint Responsibilities <br /> <br />1. There shall be special programs and projects from <br />time to time to further the education of the employees but <br />these shall be agreed upon by all parties. The City of Paris <br />will provide a State Department of Health approved EMS <br />training coordinator to provide for in-house recertification <br />and basic or advanced level certification training of other <br />City employees and other persons who are approved by the City <br />of Paris to become Emergency Technicians. Upon joint <br />approval of course agreements, the Hospital agrees to provide <br />clinical training for each course. This agreement will <br />outline the specifics of the training required by the State <br />Department of Health, EMS Division and would be provided <br />
