RESOLUTION NO, 12020=035 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, <br />APPOINTING MEMBERS TO FILL TWO VACANCIES, AN EXPIRED TERM <br />AND AN UNEXPIRED TERM, ON THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT IN <br />ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 16 OF THE CITY ZONING ORDINANCE AND <br />THE CITY'S POLICIES AND PROCEDURES FOR STANDING BOARDS, <br />COMMISSIONS AND COMMITTEES; APPOINTING WILLIAM SANDERS TO <br />SERVE AS A MEMBER FOR A TWO YEAR TERM ENDING ON JUNE 30, 2022 <br />AND LARRY WALKER TO SERVE AS A MEMBER TO FILL AN UNEXPIRED <br />TERM ENDING ON JUNE 30, 2021's MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND <br />PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE. <br />WHEREAS, Section 16w-100 of the City of Paris, Texas Zoning Ordinance No. 1710 <br />states in part that the Board of Adjustment shall consist of five (5) members, each to be <br />appointed by Resolution of the City council for a term of two years and two (2) alternate <br />members for terms of two years; and <br />WHEREAS, currently the Board of Adjustment has two vacancies; and <br />WHEREAS, the vacancies are for a two-year term ending on June 3 0, 2 0 2 2 and for an <br />unexpired term ending on June 30, 2021; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, TEXAS: <br />Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby 18n <br />all things approved. <br />Section 2. That the following appointments are hereby made to the Board of <br />Adjustment: appoint William Sanders to serve a two year term ending on June 30, 2022 and <br />Larry Walker to serve the unexpired term ending on June 30, 2021. <br />Section 4.
