<br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />90-080 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did <br />heretofore in Resolution No. 90-024 authorize an application <br />to be made to the Office of the Governor of the State of <br />Texas, Cr iminal Jus t ice Divis ion for the Cr ime Prevent ion <br />Program, SFAOl, grant; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the office of the Governor has issued its Grant <br />award, entitled "Crime Prevention Program/I, Grant No. <br />SF-9l-AOl-3566" for the year beginning October 1, 1990, <br />ending September 30, 1991, in the total amount of $23,420.00 <br />requiring matching contribution of $15,947.00; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, acceptance <br />(30) days of the date <br />September 5, 1990; and <br /> <br />of the same must occur within thirty <br />of said award which occurred on <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is deemed to be in the best interest of the <br />citizens of Paris that the City of Paris accept said Grant award <br />and continue to improve public safety in the City of Paris; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />That the City Manager, Michael E.
