A Motion to approve this item was made by Clifton Fendley, seconded by Austin <br />Anthony. Motion carried 5-0. <br />6. Public hearing to consider and take action regarding the petition of Christa Brown on <br />behalf of Norman Montgomery Jr. for a change in zoning from a One -Family Dwelling <br />District No. 2 (SF -2) to a Neighborhood Service District (NS), in the City of Paris, Block <br />294, Lot 11, LCAD 18507, located at 426 NE 30th. <br />Easton states the proposed zoning change does not conform to the future land use plan, <br />however, this use is not inconsistent with others in the near vicinity. The lot appears to be <br />of adequate size to accommodate a mid-size building with appropriate parking. If <br />approved, screening and buffering would be required along the south and east property <br />lines due to adjacent residential uses. <br />Public hearing was declared open. <br />Christa Brown, 3330 W Kaufinan is the applicant. Browns states she has owned Super Tan <br />for seven years and has outgrown her current space. She would like to construct a new <br />salon at this location and asks that the commission approve this zoning change request. <br />Skyler Burchinal, 132 CR 3310, Brookston, TX states he is the contractor for Christa <br />Brown and they have looked all over the city to find a space that would service a <br />neighborhood and this was the best location. <br />Wayne Kirby, 390 NE 30th Street, states his property abuts the subject property and he has <br />no objection to this item. <br />Public hearing was declared closed. <br />A motion to approve this item was made by Francine Neeley, seconded by Clifton <br />Fendley. Public hearing to consider and take action regarding the petition of Michael Davidson <br />and Brian Scott for a change in zoning from a Two Family Dwelling District (2F) to a <br />Four -Family Dwelling District (4F), in the City of Paris, Block 70-B, Lot 10, LCAD <br />14723, located at 1629 Pine Bluff. <br />Easton states that Michael Davidson and Brian Scott are requesting 4F zoning in order to <br />construct a quadplex. The proposed zoning change does not conform to the future land <br />
