Discuss and act on an Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Paris, Texas, Amending Section 7-18 of Article I1, Building Code, Chapter 7, Buildings and Building Regulations of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris, Texas to revise the local amendments to the 2015 International Building Code, and the 2015 International Residential Code; making other findings and provisions related to the subject; providing a repealer clause, a severability clause, a savings clause, a penalty clause; and declaring an effective date. 14. Discuss and act on an Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Paris, Texas; Amending Chapter 12 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris, Amending Article III, "Fire Code," Section 12-53, "Fire Code Amendements" making other findings and provisions related to the subject; providing a repealer clause, a severability clause, a savings clause, a penalty clause; and providing for an effective date. 15. Discuss and act on an Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Paris, Texas, Amending Chapter 25, "Plumbing and Gas," Article II, Section 25-17, "same— amendments," of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris, Texas; making other findings and provisions related to the subject; providing a repealer clause, a severability clause, a savings clause, a penalty clause; and declaring an effective date. 16. Discuss and act on engaging the services of a third party engineer firm to review the utility bond project. 17. Discuss and act on meeting dates for November and December. 18. Convene into Executive Session pursuant to Section 551.071 of the Texas Government Code, Consultation with Attorney, to receive legal advice from the City Attorney about (1) pending or contemplated litigation and/or (2) on matters in which the duty of an attorney to her client under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflict with this chapter, to -wit: including but not limited to review of competitive bidding laws. 19. Reconvene into Open Session and possibly take action on those matters discussed in Executive Session. 20. Consider and approve future events for City Council and/or City Staff pursuant to Resolution No. 2004-081.
