MINUTES OF THE REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS <br />October 12, 2020 <br />The City Council of the City of Paris met for a regular session at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, <br />October 12, 2020, at the City Council Chamber, 107 E. Kaufman, Paris, Texas. <br />Present: Mayor: Steven Clifford <br />Council Members: Paula Portugal; Renae Stone; Derrick Hughes; Gary <br />Savage; Linda Knox; and Clayton Pilgrim <br />City Staff: Grayson Path, City Manager; Stephanie Harris, City <br />Attorney; Janice Ellis, City Clerk; Gene Anderson; <br />Finance Director; Randy Tuttle, Interim Police <br />Chief; Kent Klinkerman, EMS Director; Thomas <br />McMonigle, Interim Fire Chief; Carla Easton, City <br />Engineer; M.A. Smith, Public Works Director; <br />Roger Colson, Building Official; and Clyde Crews, <br />Fire Marshal <br />Opening A enda <br />1. Call meeting to order. <br />Mayor Clifford called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. <br />2. Invocation. <br />Finance Director Gene Anderson gave the invocation. <br />3. Pledge of Allegiance. <br />Council Member Portugal led the pledge. <br />4. Citizens' forum. <br />Carol Hufnagel, 720 Bunker Street — she said she was curious who was responsible for <br />patching the pot holes on the streets, and that speed bumps were not needed. <br />Consent Agenda <br />Mayor Clifford inquired of Council Members if they wished to pull any items from the <br />consent agenda for discussion. There being none, a Motion to approve the consent agenda was <br />made by Council Member Hughes, and seconded by Council Member Savage. Motion carried, 6 <br />ayes — 0 nays. <br />
