<br />RESOLUTION NO. 89-106 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the City of <br />Paris that the Title I Exemplary Youth and Title II, SUmmer Youth <br />Programs under which Richie Pitts and Cameron Porter were hired <br />did expire on the 11th day of August, 1989; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there is an On The Job Training Program available <br />through the Job Training Partnership Act, being administered by <br />the Ark-Tex Council of Governments, which will pay one-half of <br />her salary through May, 1990, in the event the City of Paris <br />wishes to pay the remaining one-half; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Richie Pitts is needed to prepare medicare and <br />medical billings, computerized Fire Department reports and Code <br />Enforcement notices and letters, and Cameron Porter is needed as <br />a basic maintenance person at the Wastewater Treatment Plant to <br />perform job tasks that are not assigned to regular employees, but <br />require attention; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it would be proper for the City Manager of the City <br />of Paris, Michael E. Malone, to be authorized to execute <br />contracts on a one-half match basis providing that the City of <br />Paris pay one-half and the Ark-Tex Council of Governments paying <br />one-half of the salary for Richie Pitts and Cameron Porter; NOW, <br />THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />That the City Manager of the City of Paris, Michael E.
