A. Construct work as described in the Contract Documents. <br />1. Provide the materials, equipment, and incidentals required to make the <br />pro iect completely operable. <br />2. Provide the labor, equipment, tools, and consumable supplies required for a <br />complete project. <br />3. Provide the civil, mechanical and all other work required for a complete and <br />operable project. <br />4. Test and place the completed project in operation. <br />5. Provide any special tools, spare parts, supplies, or other materials as <br />applicable and indicated in Contract Documents for the operation and <br />maintenance of the Project. <br />6. Install OWNER provided products and place in operation. <br />7. Drawings and specifications do not indicate or describe all of the work <br />required to complete the project. Additional details required for the correct <br />installation of selected products are to be provided by the CONTRACTOR <br />and coordinated with the ENGINEER. <br />1.02 JOB CONDITIONS <br />A. The General Conditions, the Supplemental Conditions, and General Requirements <br />apply to each specification sections. <br />B. Comply with all applicable state and local codes and regulations pertaining to the <br />nature and character of the work being performed. <br />1.03 DESCRIPTION OF WORK <br />A. Work is described in general, non-inclusive terms as: <br />The project includes the installation of approximately 48 linear feet of rock gabion <br />baskets, complete and in place, along the western channel bank behind 645 Johnson <br />Woods Drive as shown on the plans. <br />1.04 CONSTRUCTION OF UTILITIES <br />A. If, during construction, existing utilities are to be modified or new utilities are to be <br />provided, contractor shall coordinate with utility companies or their contractors to <br />provide. <br />A. Testing of equipment and appurtenances including specified test periods, training, <br />and start-up does not constitute acceptance for operation. <br />B. OWNER may accept the system for continued use after start-up and testing at the <br />option of the OWNER. If acceptance is delayed at the option of the OWNER, shut <br />down facilities per approved Operation and Maintenance procedures. <br />C. The execution of bonds is understood to indicate the consent of the surety to these <br />provisions. <br />D.
