Attachment "A"
City of Paris Legacy Survey Digitization Scope of Work
During this project, McDoux will complete the following activities:
Task #1: Establish Requirements for Geodatabase and Public Platform
• Hold a project kick-off conference call with City staff to review and finalize
the project plan and schedule; make any revisions needed.
• Identify additional fields to be included in the geodatabase of 1,060
properties (from the 2005 historic resources survey), such as Certificate of
Appropriateness application numbers/dates, city permit numbers/dates,
vacant building status, city incentives requested/received, and summaries of
building modifications and alterations. Fields will be added to the
geodatabase and the City will be empowered to add this data at a later date.
• Determine what subset of data in the geodatabase the City would like to see
included in the public GIS map (using ESRI StoryMaps or similar platform).
• Determine if data will be organized by point feature or shape (parcel).
• Develop a mock-up in the GIS map (using ESRI StoryMaps or similar
platform) for one commercial property record and one residential property
record, for the City's review and comment.
• Make two rounds of revisions to mock-ups based on City feedback. Deliver
final mock-ups,
Task #2: Import Legacy Data into Geodatabase and Develop Public Platform
• Create the geodatabase based on the existing 1,060 -property 2005 survey
dataset.
• Provide examples of one commercial property record and one residential
property record for City review and comment.
• Make two rounds of revisions to records based on City feedback.
• Create a public -facing website, to be hosted on the City servers, using ESRI
StoryMaps or similar platform and presenting a subset of the data from the
geodatabase, based on the approved mock-up from Task #1.
• Link up to two existing digital photographs of the property to the geodatabase
record (if photographs are available; no additional photographs will be
created for this project). Provide detailed instructions to the City on how to
take architectural photographs and upload images to the geodatabase.
Professional Services Contract
McDoux Preservation LLC Page 15 of 18
