Exhibit "A" <br />— PROJECT CONTRACT & DOCUMENTS REVIEW <br />Benesch shall review contract documents and available project records for all parties associated <br />with the project to determine the following: <br />• Overview of each Scope of Work. <br />• Establish Contractual Relationships and Responsibilities between the different <br />parties. <br />• Determine potential shared, overlapping, or conflicting roles and <br />responsibilities. <br />• Establish an overall Package #4 proposed and actual design and construction <br />timeline. <br />• Identify any additional project documents required related to the areas of <br />concerns or questions to be addressed as part of the audit. <br />TASK 2 — PROJECT INFORMATION GATHERING <br />Based upon the areas of concerns or questions identified during the project kick-off meeting, <br />Benesch shall review available project records to identify relevant information. It is anticipated <br />that the areas of concern or questions will be focused on up to six (6) primary items. The first <br />being project details common to multiple areas of the project and the remaining five (5) being <br />specific project package elements, activities, geographic areas, and/or timeframes. <br />Information anticipated to be provided and used to compile information potentially relevant to <br />concerns or questions include: <br />• Design guidance, recommendations, and decisions. <br />• Project requirements including phasing, work constraints, temporary and <br />permanent restoration, and maintenance of traffic and/or access. <br />• Inspection diaries and test reports. <br />• Project correspondence. <br />• Shop drawings and materials submittals. <br />• Meeting agendas and minutes. <br />• Progress reports and progress pay estimates. <br />• Other notes or correspondence. <br />Review of common project details includes requirements for and execution of maintenance of <br />traffic and work zone traffic control; materials sourcing and properties; overall project schedule <br />and timelines for initiation, substantial completion, and final completion of individual project <br />segments; and requests for additional working days. This review will also summarize changes <br />to the overall scope of work (areas added or deleted) to include magnitude of the scope <br />2013 Utility Bond Project — Package #4 Page 3 of 5 <br />Engineering Audit <br />
