Our current plan \1aS prepared in 1972 and is <br />now out-of-date. With recent changes in FAA design criteria and <br />policies and because of the changing character of aviation nationwide, <br />it is important that we re-evaluate our airport development program. <br />The plan will enable us to establish prioritip.s and to assemble a <br />detailed phased improvement plan. ' <br /> <br />Enclosed are the forms required for our application for federal <br />assistance. The City is hereby requesting a federal grant of $40,500. <br />This grant is to be matched with $4,500 of City funds. The City has <br />ad~quate funds on hand for this project and it is our desire to advance <br />the planning study promptly so that we may be eligible for future <br />A.J.P. construction funding. <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />The enclosed preapplication has been prepared by Bucher, Willis & <br />Ratliff, Consulting Engineers, Planners and Architects.
