continuation of page CJD-10
Schedule A-2

Because Task Force members and Director are affiliated with three different public
entities, fringe benefits rates and percentages vary for each individual. The City
of Paris disburses funds monthly in lump sum to the Counties of Lamar and Red River
for payroll disbursement through their finance offices. In future years, we feel
this should become a unified process, through one payroll office. However, for the
purpose of this application and the extension of the present grant year, the process
will remain the same. Break-down of benefits for each entity follows:

City of Paris

for Narcotics Officer:

for Task Force Director:

FICA
RETI REMENT
INSURANCE
WORKERS COMP
UNEMPLOYMENT

@ 7.51%
@ 6.72%
@ $92.08 per month
@ 7.02%
@ 1%

@ 7.51%
@ 6.72%
@ $92.08 per month
@ 7.02%
@ 1%

Lamar County
for Narcotics Officer:

FICA
RETIREMENT
INSURANCE
WORKERS COMP
UNEMPLOYMENT

@ 7.51%
@ 7%
@ $50 bi-weekly
@ 7.06%
@ 1.3%

Red River County
FICA @ 7.51%
RETI REMENT @ 5%
INSURANCE @ none
WORKERS COMP @ 4%
UNEMPLOYMENT @ 1.2%

Please note: After September 30, 1989, we hope to rectify any discrepancies among
Narcotics Officers' salaries and benefits.
