LM <br />N <br />Robert Talley stated complaint received that it's sec e, has had a fire, and people <br />were staying in it at night. No evidence of people staying there. Not sure if <br />lumber is new or just in good condition. Holes in roof. Fire was in October <br />201.9. Property was recently sold about 4 months ago; new owner is present. <br />.Plans to live in house, not rent it. Has pulled demo permit to begin clean-up. <br />.Has met with Building Official. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: Secure within 14 days, begin significant <br />repairs within 90 days. <br />Owner: Carlos Sanchez, 424 4" NW, ParisTx <br />Recently purchased, still paying off. Slowly working on it. Recently got demo <br />permit. Would like extension of 90 days to complete repairs. <br />Discussion: <br />Needs to be secured ASAP. Address roof quickly to avoid further damage from <br />rain. <br />Motion made by Ken Kohls, seconded by Kim Walker to accept Robert <br />Talley's recommendation. Motion carried unanimously. 4-0 <br />1219 E.Hearon; City.Block 1. 12-13, Lot 12 <br />Owner: Sky Mar Ventures, 2625 Spur 139, Paris TX 75462 <br />. Robert Talley stated no contact with owner. Unsecure; worked numerous junk <br />and rubbish Code cases. Door has been kicked in, windows are broken. Hole <br />in roof, roof leaking in multiple places. Evidence of people going inside; trash <br />inside. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: Declare a nuisance, demo within 30 days, or <br />city has right to do so. <br />Discussion: <br />Been in. current condition for a couple of months. Code Enforcement has been <br />abating the property for some time. <br />Sky Mar is currently building properties in Paris. at action can we take to <br />:make there repair this property'? Discussed possibility of filing court case. <br />Motion made by Ken Kohls, seconded by Kim Walker, to accept Robert <br />Talley's recommendation. Motion carried unanimously. 4-0 <br />1.1.44 511 SW; Locust.Hill Block 3, Lot 3-13 <br />Owner: Ruby Lee Francis, 2514 Grasmere St, Garland TX 75040 <br />Robert Talley stated have been keeping an eye on this property. Has been on the <br />verge of being presented to BSC. Windows are missmigand door has been <br />kicked in, which is why it's being brought now. Floor inside is deteriorating. <br />
