Item No. 8 <br />TO: Mayor & City Council <br />Grayson Path, City Manager <br />FROM: Rufus Hill, Streets Department Superintendent <br />SUBJECT: STREET MATERIALS 2020-2021 RE -BID <br />DATE- March 8, 2021 <br />BACKGROUND: This is the annual bid for roadway materials to be used by the Street, Water <br />Distribution, Sewer Maintenance, and Parks Divisions. The materials competitively re -bid include <br />CRS -2 Emulsion Asphalt and SS- I Emulsion Asphalt (Tack Oil). <br />STATUS OF ISSUE: The City of Paris Public Works Department received one sealed bid for <br />street materials and would like to award bids to the lowest responsible bidder for each material. <br />The bid tabulation sheet is attached for details of the bids and materials. <br />BUDGET: Monies are budgeted in the Street, Water Distribution, Sewer Maintenance, and Park <br />Divisions, <br />RECOMMENDATION: Award bids as indicated in attachment. <br />
