Any traffic stop which meets reporting criteria <br />resulting in a custodial arrest shall be noted in the records <br />management system arrest module custom tab.This includes any <br />video and audio made while using a body worn video system. <br />E.Any motor vehicle stop which meets reporting criteria resulting in a <br />citation being issued shall be documented by completing all citation <br />fields requiring any racial profiling dataor if a ticket writer is not <br />available, by entering the information into the court records <br />management system. <br />5.Motor Vehicle Recording (MVR) Equipment. <br />A.All marked patrol vehicles are equipped with video cameras. The <br />video and soundshall be activated before all motor vehiclestops, to <br />record the actions of the vehicle and/or behavior of the person, and <br />shall remain activated until the person is released. (Refer to 7.27.01– <br />Mobile Video Recording) <br />B.Patrol Officers are responsible for ensuring patrol car and BWC mobile <br />video recording is functionalor report the malfunctiontothe on-duty <br />shift supervisor. <br />C.Videoand audio will be maintained for a period of ninety (90) days <br />before being deleted. <br />6.Reporting <br />A.The Office of Professional Standards will submit a quarterly and <br />cumulative report to the Chief of Police concerning citation and arrest <br />data, and supervisory oversight of MVR recordings. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
