<br />WATER SERVICE CONTRACT <br /> <br />STATE OF TEXAS i <br />COUNTY OF LAMAR fi <br />That, the CITY OF PARIS, Paris, Texas, a municipal <br />corporation, acting by and through its Mayor, Billy Joe <br />Burnett, hereinafter referred to as CITY and NORTH LAMAR - <br />INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT, acting by and through its <br />Superintendent, Roy C. Chadwick, duly authorized hereinafter <br />called NLISD, do contract and agree _as follows: <br />1. Water mains on the campus of NLISD are the <br />property of NLISD and shall be maintained by NLISD. Mains <br />leaving NLISD campus become CITY water system property at <br />NLISD property lines. All unmetered water mains shall be <br />constructed in accordance with CITY and State requirements, <br />and all plans and specifications shall be approved by the <br />City Engineer prior to construction, regardless of ownership <br />of the main. <br />2. NLISD agrees to make timely repairs on unmetered <br />mains and in the event of failure to so do, the CITY may <br />make said repairs charging the cost therefore to NLISD. <br />3. NLISD agrees to directly meter all water usage. A <br />metering plan shall be prepared by NLISD depicting meter <br />location and size providing for the direct metering of all <br />water usage, which plan shall be approved by the City <br />Engineer.
