Employees charged with some infraction and subject to corrective action may appeal that corrective <br />action. An appeal must be submitted in writing to the Company President or Vice President. If, after <br />reviewing the corrective action, the President or Vice President determines that the supervisor <br />followed procedures accordingly, the corrective action will stand. If the supervisor has failed to <br />follow company'poiicy, the action may be reversed. The decision of the President or Vice President <br />is final. <br />Separaflan Policies <br />Job Abandonment <br />The policy of Richard Drake Construction Company, LP concerning attendance on the job is: No <br />Call, No Show, No Job. Employees who are absent for one day or more without notifying a direct <br />supervisor are considered to have voluntarily abandoned their employment with the company. The <br />effective date of termination will be the last day the employee reported for work. If an employee <br />abandons a job, he or she will not be entitled to accrued vacation pay, unless required by law. <br />Temnination <br />Richard Drake Construction Company, LP does not have tenure or guaranteed employment. You or <br />Richard Drake Construction Company, LP may terminate your employment at any time for any <br />reason. <br />Termination may result from any of, but is not limited to, the following: (I) Corrective action <br />measures, which include infractions for violation of company policies, (ii) layoffs, which include the <br />elimination of an employee's job function or headcount reduction due to redundancy or cost <br />reduction and (iii) involuntary dismissal, which may include poor performance reviews or failure to <br />demonstrate an acceptable attitude in the workplace. <br />Termination_ Process <br />Richard Drake Construction Company, LP requires that employees return all documents, files, <br />computer equipment, uniforms, company tools, business credit cards, keys and other company <br />owned property on or before the last day of work. When ail company owned property has been <br />collected, the employee will receive his or herfinal paycheck. <br />Employees leaving the company will have the option of having an exit interview with the Company <br />management. <br />Em dovment References <br />Due to confidentiality considerations, Richard Drake Construction Company, LP does not provide <br />employment references for former employees, unless required by law. The Payroll Department will <br />provide dates of employment, positions held and eligibility for rehire only. <br />20 <br />
