Love Civic Center <br />Governing Board Minutes <br />Love Civic Center <br />January 14, 2021 <br />Present: Curtis Fendley, Steve Smith, Vicki Ballard Russell Jackson, Sydney Young, Angie Carter, Dr. Pam Anglin, <br />Scott Avery, Dr. Shaneka Scott, Dr. Wally Kraft, Melanie Palmer and Brian Boyer. <br />Staff: Kern Wright, Becky Semple and Paul Allen. <br />Curtis Fendley called the meeting to order at 4:00 pm. <br />A motion to approve the November minutes was made by Steve Smith, seconded by Angie Carter. <br />Vicki Ballard gave an overview of the December 2020 financials. A motion to approve was made by Vicki Ballard, <br />seconded by Dr. Wally Kraft. Motion passed unanimously. <br />Paul Allen stated that WRAA was awarded the contract for the renovations of the Love Civic Center. It will go to <br />city council in January and hopefully work will start sometime in early Summer. <br />Gina Crawford stated that service contracts have been sent out and we will receive the bids by February 1. <br />A motion to approve to adjourn meeting at 4:06 was made by Dr. Wally Kraft. <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br />Gina Crawford <br />
