Historic Commission for guidance to meet the desire of the property owner for a outdoor <br />seating counter. Recommendations were made to make a cut a reveal in the front of the <br />bar closest to the support walls to give the look that this is actually an addition of <br />furniture. Commissioner Coyle made a motion to grant a Certificate of Appropriateness <br />for the outdoor seating bar with 2 — 4 inch reveals cut in the front portion where it <br />attaches to the support columns. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Long. <br />Motion carried. <br />4, Discussion and Possible action on the following facade grant: <br />A. 27 Clarksville, Commissioner Caffey made a motion to award a $2500 facade grant <br />upon completion of the scope of work described in the Certificate of Appropriateness <br />application. Commissioner Coyle seconded, motion carried. <br />B. 10 1St ST. NE -101 Lamar Ave, Commissioner Caffey motion was made to award the <br />$2500 facade grant upon completion of the scope of work described in the Certificate <br />of Appropriateness application. Commissioner Long seconded, motion carried. <br />5. The Commission reviewed the photos of the property and house constructed at 1110 Church <br />Street and agreed that it was in line with the Certificate of Appropriateness #COA-20-1065. <br />Commissioner Coyle made the motion to approve the $1000 facade grant disbursement for <br />the completion of the new construction of a residential structure in the historic district. The <br />motion was seconded by Commissioner Emmite, motion carried. <br />6. The Commission verified the construction of the residence at 1110 Church Street was in line <br />with the Certificate of Appropriateness. Commissioner Coyle made the motion to approve <br />the verification of construction for the Tax Exemption for the compatible new construction <br />according to the Certificate of Appropriateness #COA-20-1065, seconded by Commissioner <br />Vandiver. Motion carried. <br />7. The commission reviewed the following structures. A motion was made by Commissioner <br />Coyle the following properties are not able to be rehabilitated or eligible for any historic <br />landmark status. <br />A. <br />827 W Houston <br />B. <br />654 SE 9th <br />C. <br />137 SE 16th <br />D. <br />127 SE 16th <br />E. <br />2211 E Polk <br />8. Cheri Bedford reviewed the Certificates of Appropriateness approved in house. She also gave <br />a small description of up and coming events. Window workshop on May 15, Tree Pruning <br />Class on May 22, and Imagine the Possibilities on June 19.
