RESOLUTION NO, 87-044 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore authorize receipt of a loan from the National Preservation Loan Fund in the amount of $50,000 for Main Street Market Square Development Project which required the obtaining of matching funds; and, WHEREAS, the City of Paris has made application for a grant for matching funds and The Meadows Foundation has made a grant offer in the amount of $55,000; and, WHEREAS, it is deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Paris that said grant offer be accepted and con- tracted for in the form of grant contract attached hereto as Exhibit A; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, as follows: 1.
