<br />ADDENDUM NO. 1 TO PROFESSIONAL SERVICE CONTRACT BETWEEN THE <br />CITY OF PARIS AND JOHN BUSS, DATED JULY 8, 1985. <br /> <br />STATE OF TEXAS <br />COUNTY OF LAV~R <br /> <br />~ <br />~ <br /> <br />KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: <br /> <br />That this Addendum to Professional Service Contract, <br /> <br />made this 30th day of March, 1987, by and between CITY OF <br />PARIS, acting by and through its Mayor, Billy Joe Burnett, <br />duly authorized and John Buss, WITNESSETH: <br />It is hereby muta11y agreed by and between City of <br />Paris and John Buss, that paragraph 1 to the Professional <br />Service Contract between the City of Paris and John Buss, <br /> <br />dated July 8, 1985, be changed to read as follows: <br />"1. For and in consideration of salary payments and <br />other consideration hereinafter mentioned to be <br /> <br />made by CITY, BUSS agrees to act as Assistant City <br />Manager, and Special Proj ects Engineer for CITY <br />and to carry out, to the best of his ability, all <br /> <br />duties imposed upon him by this contract, the City <br />Manager of the City of Paris, the Charter of the <br />City of Paris, and the laws of the State of <br /> <br />Texas." <br /> <br />Paragraph 7. D. shall be changed to read as follows: <br /> <br />"7. D. <br /> <br />For the period beginning October 1, 1986, and <br /> <br />continuing until the termination of this <br /> <br />contract, BUSS reserves the unilateral right <br />to terminate this contract by giving 14 days <br />notice of such termination to the CITY." <br /> <br />Paragraph 7.
