Chairman Dux called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m. <br />2. Meeting minutes of the May 12, 2021 meeting were approved by acclamation. <br />3. The Certificate of Appropriateness and Fagade grant application for28 Clarksville St. were <br />tabled, and a special meeting was scheduled for June 28 to review the revised application. <br />4. The commission reviewed photos of the installation of commercial windows on the building <br />located at 401St NE. A motion was made to award a grant to Gary Malone in the amount of <br />$2500 by Commissioner Matthews, seconded by Commissioner Caffey, motion carried. <br />5. Charles Edwards, Resource Management and Consulting Company gave an overview of the <br />Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs Home Program to the Paris Historic <br />Commission. The commission reviewed photos of the existing home, and plans for the new <br />construction located 719 3rd SE. Commissioner Vandiver asked about the handicap <br />accessibility, and Chairman Dux and Commissioner Caffey suggested the front porch <br />window could be enlarged. The Commission was in full support of the existing home being <br />demolished and a new one constructed. <br />6. Cheri Bedford, HPO gave a report on the following: <br />A. Certificates of Appropriateness approved in house. <br />B. Reviewed the up and coming Imagine the Possibilities events and went over the <br />properties to be showcased with the commissioners. Commissioner Vandiver, and <br />Commissioner Coyle will be able to assist with the event. <br />C. Reviewed the downtowntx.org listings of properties for sale and lease. <br />D. Reminded the Commission that the Pine Bluff and Fitzhugh district will be undergoing <br />a re -survey before the next meeting with McDoux Preservation, LLC <br />E. Reviewed the new Historic Resource Survey made available to the public on the City <br />of Paris website. <br />F. Introduced Andrew Mack, the new Director of Planning and Community <br />
