MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING <br />0 <br />AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD <br />W_ = 0 1 <br />107 EAST KAUFMAN STREET <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />THURSDAY, MAY 20,202 5:30 P.M. <br />1. The Airport Advisory Board was called to order at 5:30 P. m. by Chairman Scott Avery. <br />Members present: Ray Ball, Jim Bell, Scott Avery, Scott Hearne, Zachary Ebbs, and Anna <br />Spencer. <br />City Representatives: Grayson Path, City Manager; Janice Ellis, City Clerk; Skylar Hoskins, <br />DePutyyCitClerk; and Derek Dacus, Engineering Technician. <br />2. Citizen's Input <br />No one spoke during the citizen'sforum. <br />3. Consider approval ofminutesftom the meeting ofFebruary 25, 2021. <br />A Motion to approve the Minutes was made b y Scott Hearne, and seconded by Ray Ball. Motion <br />carried, 6 ayes — 0 Nays. <br />4,, Receive presentation regarding private hangar construction and extension of taxi way. <br />Derek Dacus presented to the board an exhibit of proposed hangars. He stated that the process <br />initially started by Skyler Burchinal caused a lot of interest in development, causing a need for <br />vehicle access. Mr. Dacus said that the City wants to take this as an opportunity to grow the <br />airport and give developers the access they need. The proposal is for developers to Lao in <br />together and extend the taxi way to the west of Hangars Al -6 and A7, providing vehicle access <br />forfuture Hangars. New private hangars could be developed to the west. Presently, i*t is unclear <br />for certain who will follow through will hangar development; however, Load Trail is interested <br />in building a corporate size Hanger to the north along taxi way A. <br />After some questions about funding and TXDOT procedures, City Manager, Grayson Path stated <br />that the estimated cost for the North/South taxi way would be around $285,0 0 0 and the <br />East/West would be around $112 ,000 depending on how many people extend and how far they <br />have to go. Mr. Path went onto say that the City would offer developers a Pro Rata agreement in <br />which they would pay the full up front cost, and then if someone comes along and needs access <br />to the taxi way, the developer would then be reimbursed. <br />S. Discuss and poss10 <br />ibly act on the reassignment of the Airport Ground Lease Agreement for <br />Hangar Q, from Larry David Ervin to O&H Air, LLC. <br />City Clerk Janice Ellis said the City had received a request from David Ervin to reassign a <br />ground lease for private Hangar Q to Jay Hodge. She explained that lease began October 12, <br />
