RESOLUTION NO. 87-100 WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the City Council of the City of Paris that there is a street, being 23rd Northwest Street, beginning at the North boundary line of West Plum Street; thence North 339 feet to the South boundary line of West Cherry Street and an alley beginning at a point in the East boundary line of 23rd N. W. Street approximately 162 feet North of the North boundary line of West Plum Street; thence East 160 feet to the West boundary line of 22nd N.W. Street; and, WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the City Council that the street and alley are not desired by the property owners adjacent to said street and alley, but that said street and alley are of use and necessary to the City of Paris and its citizens for utility easement pur- poses; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that the Mayor of the City of Paris, Billy Joe Burnett, be, and he is hereby authorized to execute quit claim deeds to the street and alley being closed to the adjacent owners on either side of said alley, it appearing that the real and true owners property owners adjacent to said street and alley are as follows: City Block 302: Lot l-B Lot l-C Edwin Harold McEntyre and wife, Lori Ann McEntyre D. A. Morrison Block 13, Westside Lot 1,2,3 Lots 5 Lots 4,6 Addition Harold Waggoner and wife, Patsy Waggoner Dora Mathews Chris R. Lee and wife, Donna Lee BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Paris retain a utility easement in the area to be described in the above described quit claim deeds.
