The MVCPA is an <br />evidence based, strategy fdnventAnd communjty=centric network fo support regional <br />taskforces, improve coordinationdeploysequipment,and;.p ovide1clear messaging to end <br />motor vehicle crime. The,AUthority seeks.to support�re'gi nal,'aand statewide law <br />for= <br />enforcement responses to,obtaiestoutcomes Texas; MVCPA fosters a statewide <br />n b <br />collaborative network to combat;motor vehicle burglaiy, motor vehicle theft and fraud - <br />related motor vehicle crime. MVCPA also funds education campaigns to inform <br />automobile owners of methods to prevent;or vehie burglary or theft. MVCPA <br />15 <br />issues grants to law enforcement agencies NNOferred to as Taskforces) and educates the <br />public to act and use prevention techniques to fulfill its mission.
