TO: Mayor, Mayor Pro -Tem & City Council <br />Grayson Path, City Manager <br />FROM: Gene Anderson, Finance Director <br />DATE: September 13, 2021 <br />Item No. 13 <br />BACKGROUND: The proposed 2021-22 City budget was filed with the City Clerk on August 9' <br />and also presented to the City Council on August 9th. On August 23d the City Council discussed <br />the budget and no changes were proposed to the document. This budget ordinance summarizes <br />revenues and expenses for all budgeted city funds and departments. It also provides for certain <br />transfers to be made between various city funds. <br />STATUS OF ISSUE: The proposed City budget has been reviewed by the City Council and a <br />public hearing was held in accordance with City charter requirements. The proposed budget now <br />awaits the City Council's formal adoption through this ordinance. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Motion to approve the 2021-22 City budget ordinance. <br />
