I Construction and Demolition Material: $19.36 per ton (up $2.11) iii. Brush Trucks: $6.06 per yard (up $0.81) iv. Waste Material: $6.50 per yard (up $0.50) 7. Section 7: Same as 2(c) a. SS/WC stopped recycling several years ago due to expense and the City approached Choctaw Recycling to pick up the need. At this time, our expense for working with Choctaw Recycling is extremely low. Waste Connection is also not willing to start this back up. The City Manager recommends eliminating this line. 8. Sections 8 —11— N/A 9. Section 12 — After looking at our records, we have never received the annual $5,000.00 donation from Sanitation Solution or Waste Connection. It may prove difficult to go back very far and demand payment, especially since the City apparently missed this even in year one. The City Manager would recommend enforcing it going forward. If the City Council would like for this to be enforced retroactively, we can attempt to work with Waste Connection on this. 10. Sections 13 —17 — N/A 11. Section 18 — Same as 2(c). 12. Sections 19 — 23 — N/A 13. Section 24 — New Waste Connection contact. 14. Section 25 — N/A Overall, the agreement has been successful and beneficial to the City of Paris and its citizens. Operationally, it has worked very well for the City. Conclusion It is City Staff recommendation that the City renew the Landfill Agreement with Waste Connection with the listed edits discussed in this report. Said agreement will be brought back to the September 27, 2021 City Council meeting for approval.
