RESOLUTION NO, 87_071 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore in Resolution No. 85-003 authorize a lease agreement with Roger Sadler, d/b/a Saber Aviation to provide the services of a fixed base operator at Cox Field, Paris, Texas; and, WHEREAS, Roger Sadler has requested the release of $10,000 certificate of deposit security for his performance under the lease contract; and, WHEREAS, the Airport Advisory Board has recommended that the $10,000 certificate of deposit be retained unless a valid first lien in the amount of $10,000 against the jet fuel truck securing fixed base operator's performance under his lease is substituted therefor; and, WHEREAS, the lessee has faithfully performed all obligations under the "Cox Field Fixed Base Operator Lease" and the continued performance can be secured by the substi- tution of the first lien of $10,000 against the jet fuel truck in lieu of the $10,000 certificate of deposit; and, WHEREAS, it is right and proper that said Lease Agree- ment be amended in the form of Addendum Number Two attached hereto as Exhibit A; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, That the amendment to Cox Field Fixed Base Operator Lease dated January 14, 1985, in the form of Addendum Number Two attached hereto as Exhibit A, be, and the same is hereby approved; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That Billy Joe Burnett, Mayor of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the City of Paris Addendum Number Two to Cox Field Fixed Base Operator Lease with Roger Sadler, d/b/a Saber Aviation dated January 14, 1985, in the form of Addendum Number Two attached hereto as Exhibit A.
