CHARTER REVIEW COMMITTEE AGENDA <br />Notice is hereby given that the Charter Review Committee of the City of Paris shall meet at <br />5:30 p.m. on Monday, September 20, 2021. The meeting will be held in the City Hall <br />Conference Room, Yd Floor, City Hall, 107 E. Kaufman Street, in Paris, Texas. Due to the <br />CoVID outbreak, facemasks are encouraged for those in attendance of the meeting. The <br />matters to be discussed and acted upon are as follows: <br />1. Call meeting to order and welcome remarks by Commission Chairperson Alix Putnam. <br />2. Roll call. <br />3. Remarks by Mayor Paula Portugal. <br />4. Receive Citizens' input. <br />(Unless an item is posted on the Agenda, the Texas Open Meetings Act prohibits the Commission <br />from responding to any comments) <br />5. Introductions of Commission Members, City Staff and Consultant. <br />6. Consider election of a Vice -Chairperson. <br />7. Consider a meeting time for future Commission meetings. <br />8. Consider establishing a quorum number for future Commission meetings. <br />9. Consider an overview of the current Charter prepared by Consultant Don R. Edmonds <br />and discuss a tentative schedule by which to comprehensively review the document. (See <br />the following: Appendix A and Appendix B) <br />10.
