<br />RESOLUTION NO, 87-063 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there exists a vacancy on the membership of <br />the Historical Landmark Preservation Commission of the City <br />of Paris due to the resignation of Margie Lou Hubbard, and <br />it is necessary to appoint her successor, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the terms of office of Jo Miesch, Bill Payne, <br />Cathie Spearman Swaim, Lowry Carrington, A. W. Clem, IV., <br />Dr. Don Black, F. I. McClanahan and Larry McDowell as <br />members of the Historical Landmark Preservation Commission <br />of the City of Paris, will expire on June 30, 1987; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris, Billy Joe <br />Burnett, does hereby recommend the appointment of Debbie <br />Burks, representing the Lamar County Historical Society, to <br />serve the unexpired term of Margie Lou Hubbard, which ends <br />June 30, 1988, the re-appointment of Jo Miesch, as a member <br />of the board of directors of a local financial institution; <br />Lowry Carrington, as a Realtor; Dr. Don Black, as a member <br />of the Lamar County Genealogy Society; F. I. McClanahan and <br />Larry McDowell, as members at large; and the appointments of <br />Ed Ellis, as a member of the Lamar County Bar Association; <br />and Rick Powell, as a member with nursery and/or landscape <br />interest; for a term of two (2) years, beginning July 1, <br />1987, and ending June 30, 1989; NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, that the appointment of Debbie Burks, representing <br />the Lamar County Historical Society, to serve the unexpired <br />term of Margie Lou Hubbard which ends June 30, 1988 and the <br />re-appointment of Jo Miesch, as a member of the board of <br />directors of a local financial institution; Lowry <br />Carrington, as a Realtor; Dr. Don Black, as a member of the <br />Lamar County Genealogy Society; F. I.
