CHARTER REVIEW COMMITTEE AGENDA <br />Notice is hereby given that the Charter Review Committee of the City of Paris shall meet at <br />5:30 p.m. on Monday, October 18, 2021. The meeting will be held in the Gallery at the <br />Paris Public Library, 326 S. Main, in Paris, Texas. Due to the CoVID outbreak facemasks <br />are encouraged for those in attendance of the meeting. The matters to be discussed and <br />acted upon are as follows: <br />1. Call meeting to order by Commission Chairperson Alix Putnam. <br />2. Roll call and declaration of a quorum. <br />3. Receive Citizens' input. <br />(Unless an item is posted on the Agenda, the Texas Open Meetings Act prohibits the Commission <br />from responding to any comments) <br />4. Consider approval of the minutes of the Commission meeting on October 4, 2021. (See <br />Appendix A) <br />5. In connection with Sec. 18, consider the Consultant's survey of compensation for city <br />councils in various area cities. (See Appendix B) <br />6. Reconsider the previously proposed amendatory language in Sec. 38, concerning disabled <br />employees, pensions and insurance. <br />7. Consider amendatory language proposed by the Consultant in Articles V, VI, and VII. <br />(See Appendix C) <br />8.
