Vice Chair Emily Temple called the meeting to order at 4:36 pm. <br />2. Citizen's Forum: No one presented during citizen's forum. <br />GUESTS <br />B.A. Sessums <br />3. A motion was made to approve the August 10, 2021 meeting minutes by Shelby Gilliam and seconded by <br />Kari Daniel, motion carried. <br />4. Discussion and Possible Action on the BIG Grant 6 & 10 Clarksville St. <br />a. After a few questions by various board members, Glee Emmitte motioned to approve the BIG grant <br />to the amount of $1650, the total amount of funds available by the Main Street board. Kari Daniel <br />seconded, motion carries. <br />5. Discussion and action on the downtown traffic plan. <br />a. Kari Motions to accept the proposed downtown traffic plan, Tanner Dobrovolsky and Emily <br />Temple Second. <br />b. Our majority approves the plan. <br />6. Advisory Board activity report <br />a. Don Yarborough <br />i. For Traffic Study: will volunteer to man one corner of the flashing redlight study and <br />stop sign study. Volunteers personal time to help conduct study considering many <br />variables. <br />b. Cheri Bedford: Texas A&M Commerce Marketing Department is partnering with the Traffic <br />Commission to help come up with and implement the traffic study. Such as warning signage, <br />online social marketing, and changes to the lights and traffic flow„ <br />
