NOTICE OF SPECIAL ELECTION

<br />To the registered voters of the City of Paris, Texas:

<br />Notice is hereby given that the polling places listed below will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., on
<br />November 7, 2017, for voting in a special election for the abolition of a sales and use tax for the
<br />promotion and development of new and expanded business enterprises at the rate of one -fourth of
<br />one percent within the City of Paris, Texas as permitted and authorized under the Local Government
<br />Code, Chapter 504, Type A Corporations, and the adoption of a local sales and use tax in the City of
<br />Paris, Texas at the rate of one -fourth of one percent to provide revenue for maintenance and repair of
<br />municipal street which will not take effect until the debt of the Paris Economic Development
<br />Corporation is extinguished.
<br />El presente sirve de aviso de que los lugares de votaci6n a continuaci6n estaran abiertos de 7:00 a.m. a 7:00 p.m. el
<br />dia 7 de noviembre de 2017 para votaci6n en una elecci6n especial sobre la abolici6n de un impuesto de use y ventas
<br />para la promoci6n y desarrollo de empresas comerciales nuevas y expandidas, a una tasa de un cuarto por ciento
<br />dentro de la Ciudad de Paris, Texas, segOn to permitido y autorizado por el C6digo de Gobierno Local, Capitulo 504,
<br />Corporaciones de Clase A, y la adopci6n de un impuesto de use y yentas local en la Ciudad de Paris, Texas, a una
<br />tasa de un cuarto por ciento pars proveer ingresos para mantener y reparar las calles municipales, to cual no entrara
<br />en vigor hasty no extinguirse la deuda de la Paris Economic Development Corporation.

<br />Early voting by personal appearance for all districts will be conducted each weekday at Lamar County Courthouse
<br />Annex, Old County Courtroom, 231 Lamar Avenue, Paris, Texas between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
<br />beginning on October 23rd — November 3rd, Monday through Friday. There will be two twelve -hour days during early
<br />voting: Monday, October 23rd and Tuesday, October 24'h, from 7.00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
<br />Para todos los distritos, la votaci6n anticipada por comparecencia personal se realizara cada dia entre semana en el
<br />Lamar County Courthouse Annex Old County Courtroom (Anejo del Tribunal del Condado de Lamar), 231 Lamar
<br />Avenue, Paris, Texas, entre las horas de 8:00 a.m. y 5:00 p.m., del 23 de octubre al 3 de noviembre, de lunes a
<br />viernes. Durante la epoca de votaci6n anticipada habran dos dias con doce horas: lunes, 23 de octubre y mantes, 24
<br />de octubre, de 7: 00 a.m. a 7: 00 p.m.
