Item No. 15
TO: Mayor, Mayor Pro -Tem & City Council
Grayson Path, City Manager
FROM: Paul Strahan, Airport Manager/FBO Operator
SUBJECT: CITY -OWNED HANGAR LEASE AGREEMENT AMENDMENT
DATE: January 10, 2022
BACKGROUND: Paragraph 4 of the current t -hangar (city -owned) lease states that the term of
the lease is 7 years with an option to extend the lease for an additional 3 years. The City of Paris
City Code Sec. 10.04.006 (b) covers T -hangar rental and states that all hangars shall be on a month-
to-month basis.
STATUS OF ISSUE: The current hangar lease agreement contradicts the Paris City Code and
needs to be amended to reflect what is written in the City's Code of Ordinances.
BUDGET: N/A
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the amendment to the Hangar Lease Agreement to reflect the
lease term being a month-to-month rather than a 7 year term with an additional 3 year option. By
doing this correction, both the t -hangar lease and the city code will be in agreeance.
