BUDGET: The total contract is for $1,398,454.00, which includes a $50,000.00 contingency in case of minor change orders along the way. The City currently has a remaining balance in the bond of $1,177,800.00. Some of this will be used for expenses with WRA Architects, Inc. Pursuant to the previous agenda item, the LCCC will review and consider approval to utilize their existing construction funds to pay all excess beyond the City's available bond funding. This construction fund was created and dedicated for the rehabilitation and restoration of the Love Civic Center, therefore use of this funding for this additional work is appropriate. OPTIONS: 1. Award the bid for the Love Civic Center Renovation Project to Tegrity Contractors, Inc. in the amount of $1,398,454.00 and authorize the City Manager to sign and issue the notice to proceed, contingent upon the LCCC's approval of the agreement to cover additional costs beyond the available bond funding. 2. Reject the Agreement and/or request additional information or edits. RECOMMENDATION: 1.
