Paris Visitors & Convention Council Board of Directors Meeting <br />8 West Plaza and zoom <br />Tuesday, January 1811, 2022 <br />4:00 pm <br />Members Present: John Bratcher, Ryan Whitaker, Kelli McDonald, Mark Pankaj, Dustin Broadway, Lea <br />Emerson, Cary Lott, Brittney Keys, Paula Portugal, Trevor Huie, Brad Hilliard, Bryan Hargis, Bud Mistry, <br />Chadlee Johnston, Russell Jackson and Trey Glascock. <br />Staff Present: Becky Semple and Gina Crawford. <br />Chadlee Johnston called the meeting to order at 4:00 pm. <br />Minutes: A motion to approve November minutes was made by Trey Glascock, seconded by Bud Mistry. <br />Motion passed unanimously. <br />Financials: Russell Jackson presented the December financials. A motion to approve was made by Mark <br />Pankaj, seconded by Brittany Keys. Motion passed unanimously. <br />Becky Semple presented funding request for City of Main Street Winefest April 9th. Based on the <br />scoring criteria a motion to approve $1650.00 was made by Trey Glascock, seconded by Cary Lott. <br />Motion passed unanimously. <br />Becky Semple presented funding request for Paris Steak Wars on April 8th and 9th. Based on the scoring <br />criteria a motion to approve $1800.00 was made by Brittney Keys, seconded by Bud Mistry. Motion <br />passed unanimously. <br />Becky Semple presented funding request for Slade Baker Memorial Crawfish Cookout on May 6th and <br />7th. Based on the scoring criteria a motion to approve $1750.00 was made by Trey Glascock, seconded <br />by John Bratcher. Motion passed unanimously. <br />Old Business: Paul Allen stated the Paris Basketball Tournament was a huge success, with 14 teams <br />spending the night. <br />Future business: Indoor Archery is January 28 -30th. 200 pre -registered. Paris solar Eclipse April 2024. <br />Ad0ourn: Ryan Whitaker made a motion to adjourn. <br />Meeting adjourned at 4:18 p.m. <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br />Gina Crawford <br />
