Section 2. That the City Council of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas hereby <br />confirms that it supports the proposed development of Forestbrook Estates to be <br />located at and about 3375 Jefferson Road, Paris, Texas, more fully described in <br />Exhibit A hereto. <br />Section 3. That it is the intent of the City Council to approve appropriate <br />zoning changes as recommended by the city's Department of Planning and <br />Community Development and the Planning and Zoning Commission to facilitate the <br />development. <br />Section 4. That it is the intent of the City Council to consider approval of a site <br />plan in substantial conformance to Exhibit A, which is attached hereto and <br />incorporated herein by reference, subject to all zoning, platting, and other matters <br />required by the Department of Planning and Community Development, the Planning <br />and Zoning Commission and this City Council, such site plan to be processed <br />according to prescribed methods for approval set forth in the city's adopted <br />Comprehensive Plan and Zoning Ordinance No. 1710. <br />Section 5. That it is the intent of the City Council to amend the city's future <br />thoroughfare plan to provide for the connection of Loop 286 to South Collegiate Drive, <br />to follow the proposed thoroughfare to continue west by connecting to South <br />Collegiate Drive south of Love Civic Center. <br />Section 6. That it is the intent of the City Council to participate in the planning, <br />construction and funding of the thoroughfare described herein, which thoroughfare <br />will connect Loop 286 to South Collegiate Drive and consist of four (4) lanes with a <br />landscaped median of twelve (12) or more feet in width, provided horizontal <br />development commences on property south of the thoroughfare of the site master <br />plan within eight (8) months of the passage of this resolution. <br />Section 7. That this Resolution is non-binding, and any approvals mentioned <br />herein and participation by the city in the financing and construction of the <br />aforementioned thoroughfare road is subject to the will of this and future City <br />Councils, available financing, and the laws of the State of Texas with respect to bonded <br />indebtedness. <br />Section B. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of <br />passage. <br />
