Robert Talley has have several conversations with the owner and buyers of this <br />property. There were 4 neighbors in the meeting to see what was done about this <br />property. <br />Robert Talley stated this was a fire and cleanup had started on this property then <br />just stopped. The structure is on the ground and there's one full dumpster on the <br />property. Once BSC orders are completed Sanitation Solutions will be called to <br />remove the dumpster. <br />BSC Commission asked that a status report on this property to be included in the <br />April meeting. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: Removal of junk and rubbish materials in 30 <br />days, and if not the city has right to do so. <br />Motion made by Richard Thompson, seconded by Kim Walker, to follow staff <br />recommendation. Motion carried unanimously. 7-0 <br />A. 904 Cedar; Gibbons Park, Block 5, Lot 7-8 <br />Owner: Martin Frias 7241 Helsem Blvd Dallas, TX 75230 <br />The Paris Police Department and Paris Fire Department have both turned this <br />property into code enforcement. There is a squatter who was staying in this <br />structure that is notorious for starting fires. <br />No contact with owner. <br />Robert Talley stated the structure is unsecure, windows are broken, holes in roof, <br />shed in back collapsing, leaking and the squatter is cutting new doors in walls. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: Declare a nuisance, demo within 30 days, or <br />city has right to do so. <br />Motion made by Adam Bolton, seconded by Carlton Cooper, to follow staff <br />recommendation. Motion carried unanimously. 7-0 <br />B. 1031 Grove; City Block 175, Lot 1 <br />Owner: John Robert & Clarice Holt 1125 Martin Luther Ding Drive Paris, TX <br />75460-6437 <br />No Contact with owner. <br />Robert Talley stated the structure is unsecure, doors open, roof sagging, holes in <br />roof, roofing material peeling, the inside was full of junk and rubbish, floor board <br />is deteriorating, ceiling is falling, underpinning is bowing, foundation damage and <br />the structure is sinking. Robert Talley said the utilities will be capped at the street <br />once the 30 day is up. <br />
