<br />, <br /> <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE OWNER AND THE CONTRACTOR <br /> <br />STATE OF TEXAS * <br />COUNTY OF LAMAR * <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made the 2nd <br />Nineteen Hundred and Eighty - fi ve <br /> <br />day of <br />(1982) , <br /> <br />May <br />by and between <br /> <br />in the year <br /> <br />THE CITY OF PARIS <br /> <br />hereinafter called the OWNER, and <br />Ronald Taylor, d/b/a Taylor Discount Carpets, <br /> <br />hereinafter called the CONTRACTOR. <br /> <br />WITNESSETH, that the Owner and the Contractor for the considerstions hereinafter <br />named agree as follows: <br /> <br />ARTICLE 1: THE WORK <br /> <br />The Contractor agrees to furnish all necessary labor, materials, tools and equipment <br />to complete the Floor Covering Work as delineated in the Contract Documents prepared <br />by the Architect. <br /> <br />ARTICLE II: THE ARCHITECT <br /> <br />The Architect for this project is Denney Architects of Paris, Texas. <br /> <br />ARTICLE Ill: THE CONTRACT SUM <br /> <br />The Owner shall pay the Contractor for the performance of the Work subject to <br />additions and deductions by Change Order, the Contract Sum of <br /> <br />Seven Thousand, Four Hundred, Eighty and no/lOa Dollars ____n_- <br /> <br />------------------------------------ <br /> <br />($ <br /> <br />7,480.00 <br /> <br />) . <br /> <br />ARTICLE IV: PAYMENTS <br /> <br />Based upon Applications for Payment submitted to the Architect by the Contractor and <br />Certificates for Payment issued by the Architect, the Owner shall make payments on <br />account of the Contract Sum to the Contractor as outlined in the Summary of the <br />Work. <br /> <br />ARTICLE V: THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS <br /> <br />The Contract Documents shall consist of: <br /> <br />Drawing Sheet A-I, dated Feb. 5, 1985, revised Feb. 20, 1985 <br />Drawing Sheet A-2, dated Feb. 5, 1985, revised Mar. 10, 1985 <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />EXHIBIT A <br />
