Item No. 12 Memorandum TO: Mayor, Mayor Pro Tem and City Council Grayson Path, City Manager FROM: Andrew Mack, AICP Director Planning & Community Development SUBJECT: Consideration of and action on the Final Plat of the Offutt North Main Addition, Lot 1, Block A, LCAD Property ID 15035, located at 423 N Main Street DATE: May 23, 2022 BACKGROUND & DISCUSSION The applicant requests approval of a Final Plat. The reason for the platting is for the redevelopment construction of a new automotive detail and accessory business. At its meeting on 5/2/22 the P&Z recommended approval with conditions. Recommendation Staff recommends approval of the Preliminary and Final Plats, subject to the following conditions: I . The approval certification shall be added to the Preliminary Plat pursuant to the City's Subdivision Ordinance Section IV (14) to read as follows: "Chairman, City of Paris Planning and Zoning Commission" 2. An accurate boundary survey of the property shall be provided on the final plat, with bearings and distances referenced to survey lines and established subdivisions, with complete and accurate field notes of said boundaries pursuant to the City's Subdivision Ordinance, Section V. (7) regarding the fourth paragraph, "...a distance of 35.08 feet to a ''/z" iron pin found for corner..." 3. The approval certificate shall be rewritten on the final plat pursuant the City's Subdivision Ordinance, Section V. (14) Approval Certifications as follows: i. "Chairman, Ci y of Paris Planning and Zoning Commission" ii. The undersigned, the City Clerk of the City of Paris, hereby certifies that the foregoing final map or plat of the Lot 1 Block A Offutt North Main Addition to the City of Paris was submitted to the City Council on the day of , (continued)" iii. "Witness my hand this day of,,,___ A.D. 2022" iv. "City Clerk, City of Paris Texas" 4. Locations of proposed lots, streets, alleys, easements, parks, building setback lines (both front and side streets), minimum finished floor elevations for each lot in the subdivision and other features requested by the City Engineer shall be revised on the Final Plat pursuant to the City's Subdivision Ordinance, Section V. Final Plat (8).
