of Paris to prepare other plans, policies, or strategies related to lamed use and land use <br />planning as required; and, <br />WHEREAS, in September for 2001., the City Council adopted a City of Peps„ 'T'e as <br />Comprehensive Plan and Future Land Use Plana; and, <br />WHEREAS, said 2001. Comprehensive Placa and Future land Use Plan and said Land <br />Use Plan Definitions were amended and adopted in May, 2008, and, <br />WHEREAS, in October of 2018, the City Council adopted significant revisions to the <br />Comprehensive Play and the Future ]Land Use Plain; and <br />WHEREAS, on May 2, 2022 the Planning and Zoning Commission held a public <br />hearing to review and consider a request to mend the ]Future Land Use Plan Map as it <br />pertains to the property located on City Bloch 170-C, lots 14---C, 1.4-D, 14-F, 17, 18, 13A, 1.3, <br />2, 11, 14 -ll, Part of 1., 16, 2... gip., located at 25.0, 2520, 23.50, 2340, 2330, 2320, 231.0, 2296, <br />2286, 2.530, 2640, 271.0 and 2280 SE 3RD Street; Newberry Addition C: 1.67, Bloch. 1.67, Lot <br />4, being located at 2705 SF 3RD Street; City Block 167, Cot 3B and .5, being located at 2400 <br />Block and 2735 SP 3RD Street, Paris, Lamar County, Texas, from a Commercial District (C) to <br />a Low Density Residential District (p. DR); and, <br />WHEREAS, on May 23, 2022, the City Council of the City of Paris held a public hearing <br />to receive input from the citizens of the City of Paris regarding the proposed amendment to <br />the Future Land Use Plan map; and, <br />WHEREAS, following the public hearing and consideration of the proposed. <br />amendment to the Future Land Use Plan map for the City of Paris, the City Council <br />determined that this amendment would be in the lest interest of the City of Paris and its <br />citizens, and the same ,should be approved, <br />NOW,'YHEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BYTHE CITY COUNCIL CIC lF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, TEXAS: <br />Sectio 1- That the findings sot out in the preamble to this ordinance are hereby <br />in all things approved. <br />Section 2„ That the Future land Use Plan flap of the City of Paris, Texas shall be <br />amended to gauge the potential zoning classifications for the property described as City <br />Block 1.70-C, Lots 14-C, 14-ffD, 1.4...E, 1.7, 18, 13A, 1.3, 1.2, 11, 1.4....P, Part of 1.4, 16, 2-1., located <br />at 2510, 2520, 2350, 2340, 2330, 2320, 231.0, 2296, 2206, 2530, 2640, 2710 and 2280 SIS 3RD <br />Street; Ne berry Addition 0131..67, Bloch 1.67, Lot 4, beinglocated at 2705 SP 3RD Street; City <br />Bloch 1.67, hot 313 and 5, being located at 2400 Block and 2735 SL 3RD Street, Paris, Larnar <br />County, Texas, from a Commercial District (C) to a Low Density Residential district (Li R). <br />Section 3, That all provisions of the ordinances of the City of Paris, "Fees in <br />conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed, and all other provisions <br />
