<br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />85-058 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Texas Department of Community Affairs is <br />administering assistance for the purpose of rehabilitation <br />of substandard units in compliance with the Texas Rental <br />Rehabilitation Program; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in Resolution No. 84-084 the City Manager of <br />the City of Paris was authorized to execute and process an <br />application for $100,000.00, being a 100% grant; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Texas Department of Community Affairs has <br />offered a contract for a rental rehabilitation program, <br />being Contract No. 00023904585 with an effectiye date of <br />April 15, 1985, and an addendum No. 01 thereto with an <br />effective date of May 1, 1985, being attached hereto as <br />Exhibits A and B; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the form of such contract and addendum No. 1 <br />thereto was heretofore approved which approval should be <br />hereby ratified; NOW THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS: <br /> <br />1. <br />addendum <br />with the <br />hereto as <br />ratified. <br /> <br />That the form of contract No. 00023904585 and <br />No.1 thereto for the total amount of $108,878.57, <br />Texas Department of Community Affairs, attached <br />Exhibits A and B, respectively, is in all things <br /> <br />2.
