Motion carried. <br />Chairman Dux opened the public hearing for the consideration of the addition of a Historic <br />District Overlay (HD- 18) for house located CITY OF PARIS, BLOCK 146, LOT 3 being located <br />at 705 3rd Street SE. <br />Chairman Dux reviewed the property details, noting the Italianate Architecture, and that the <br />[�roperty is also listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The property is currently in <br />Tax Foreclosure, and this designation would provide protections for the property and also <br />incentives <br />Linda Knox residing at 655 Church Street spoke in favor of the overlay district, stating it is one <br />of the oldest homes in Paris.
