Approve a Resolution determining that the Paris Texas Main Street District contains <br />conditions detrimental to the public health, safety and welfare of the community and <br />constitutes a blighted area. <br />10. Approve a Resolution authorizing submission of the 2022 Texas Community <br />Development Program Downtown Revitalization Program for the City of Paris, Texas. <br />Regular Agenda <br />11. Discuss and act on a Resolution approving an Economic Development Agreement with <br />Paris Hotel, LP regarding TownPlace Suites and Fairfield Inn. <br />12. Discuss and act on a Resolution accepting the donation from Joseph K. Varner of <br />property around the Lamar County Historical Museum building. <br />13. Discuss and act on a request from Supreme All, Inc. for reduction of rent at the Event <br />Center for the months of June, July and August. <br />14. Discuss a request from Supreme All, Inc. to consider donating the Event Center to their <br />non-profit corporation. <br />15. Discuss and act on an Ordinance amending Section 7.03, "Smoking," of the Code of <br />Ordinances to prohibit vaping in public places and to include a variance process for <br />businesses with semi -enclosed places of employment. <br />16. Discuss and act on an Ordinance amending Chapter 10, "Streets, Parks and Other Public <br />Ways and Places," Article 10.05, "Streets and Sidewalks," of the Code of Ordinances to <br />add Division 8, "Micro -trenching," to provide regulations and specifications for <br />installation of conduit for fiber optic cable city rights-of-way through the micro -trenching <br />process. <br />17. Discuss and confirm appointment of Ron Hervey as Interim Library Director. <br />18. Discuss and provide direction on pursuing a Pension Bond and agreement with the Paris <br />Firefighters Pension Board. <br />19. Convene into executive session pursuant to Section 551.087 of the Texas Government <br />Code, (1) to discuss or deliberate regarding commercial or financial information that the <br />governmental body has received from a business prospect that the governmental body <br />seeks to have locate, stay, or expand in or near the territory of the governmental body and <br />with which the governmental body is conducting economic development negotiations; or <br />(2) to deliberate the offer of a financial or other incentive to a business prospect described <br />by Subdivision (1), as follows: Lionshead Paris, LLC. <br />20. Reconvene into open session and possible take action on those matters discussed in <br />executive session. <br />21. Consider and approve future events for City Council and/or City Staff pursuant to <br />Resolution No. 2004-081, <br />
