Paris Visitors and ConventionCouncilBoard of Directors MeetUn <br />8 West Plaza <br />April 18, 2022 <br />4:00 PM <br />Members Present: Chadlee Johnston, Russell Jackson, Cheri Bedford, Cary Lott, Trevor Huie, Brad <br />Hilliard, Bryan Hargis, Bud Mistry, Mark Pankaj, John Bratcher, Trey Glascock, Kelli McDonald and <br />Brittney Keys. <br />Staff Present: Paul Allen, Becky Semple and Gina Crawford. <br />Chadlee Johnston called the meeting to order at 4:00 pm. <br />Minutes,: A motion to approve March minutes was made by Trey Glascock, seconded by Bud Mistry. <br />Motion passed unanimously. <br />Financials: Russell Jackson presented the March financials. A motion to approve was made by Brittany <br />Keys, seconded by Brad Hilliard. Motion passed unanimously. <br />Becky Semple presented a funding request for Denver Pyle Children's Charity for Uncle Jesse Fishing <br />Tournament on May 7th, 2022. Based on the scoring criteria Trey Glascock made a motion to approve <br />$1550.00, seconded by Trevor Huie. Motion passed unanimously. <br />Becky Semple presented a funding request for Paris Breakfast Optimist for four Dixie Youth baseball <br />tournaments. A motion to table this item was made by Brittany Keys, seconded by Bryan Hargis. Becky <br />Semple will ask for more information to present at the next VCC meeting. <br />Becky Semple presented a funding request for the Paris Balloon and Music Festival on September 9th _ <br />11th, 2022. Based on the scoring criteria Brittany Keys made a motion to approve $2250.00, seconded <br />by John Bratcher. Motion passed unanimously. <br />Becky Semple presented a funding request for Red River Valley Veterans NE Classic Car Show on June <br />10th and 11th. Based on the scoring criteria Trey Glascock made a motion to approve $1500.00, <br />seconded by Bryan Hargis. Motion passed unanimously. <br />Old Business: Paul Allen stated we will be having Gran Fondo on April 30th <br />Future business: None. <br />Adiourn: Trey Glascock made a motion to adjourn. <br />Meeting adjourned at 4:33 p.m. <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br />Gina Crawford <br />
