He is in the process <br />of buying this property and the closing of the sale is scheduled June 1. <br />Robert Talley stated the front of the building fell into the street and the City pushed <br />all the debris into the opening and off the street and sidewalk. Brad Archer has a <br />structural engineer report on the building and Mr. Archer is the owner of the <br />attached building. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: Declare a nuisance, put a screening device <br />up in 30 days, or city has right to do so. <br />Discussion of the future of the historic district property. The mother <br />wanted to know if Joseph could tear the house down himself. Robert Talley told <br />her yes, but he had to pull a demo permit. <br />Robert Talley stated this property is unsecure, missing floor, shell of a house, <br />scabbed boards and the shed is the same. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: Declare a nuisance, demo within 30 days and <br />secure structure in 14 days with the lumber onsite, or city has right to do so. <br />
