Country Club. There are 5 new members to the group, making the number about <br />40 <br />b. Gameboard. Audrey noted that the gameboard that Friends purchased for the <br />library cannot be repaired from the flood damage and she plans on asking for <br />donations at the luncheon specifically to replace this gift. <br />c. Childre ' n's Programs. The Friends have announced that now 100% of the program <br />fees for the children's programming will be paid for by the Friends, instead of the <br />previous 50% of the cost. <br />d. Houston Library. Audrie researched to find out if any resident of Texas could <br />have a library card from the Houston library, Eva Dickey commented, stating that <br />she attempted to apply for a card, even though she is not a resident of Houston <br />and received her card in the mail. Steve mentioned that he would like a link to the <br />Houston Public Library on the Paris Public Library's website. <br />e. T -Shirts. Audrey stated that she is working on a t -shirt design for the library's 90th <br />anniversary and hopes that it will be available for purchase soon on Screen <br />Graphic's website. <br />VIL Director's Remarks <br />Tim wanted to thank everyone for the memories made. He contemplated if he had <br />changed his community while working for Paris. He asked the board to hold the new <br />director responsible for the library and the impact on the surrounding community. <br />The meeting adjourned at 5:03 p.m. with Eva Dickey providing the motion and Myers Hurt <br />adding the second. <br />The next meeting will be on June 15t"9 2022 <br />
