Agreement No, STATE OF TEXAS § COUNTY OF TRAVIS § ADDENDUM TO AGREEMENT FOR THE TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF STATE RIGHT OF WAY THIS ADDENDUM TO AGREEMENT FOR THE TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF STATE RIGHT OF WAY is made by and between the State of Texas, acting by and through the Texas Department of Transportation, hereinafter called the "State," and the City of Paris, Texas, a municipal corporation, acting by and through its duly authorized officers, hereinafter called the "local government." WITNESSETH WHEREAS, the State owns and operates a system of highways for public use and benefit, including State H„ihway _Business 19 24 82 & 271, in Lamar County; and WHEREAS, on June 13 2022 by Resolution No. 2022-039,the local government requested the temporary closure of State Highways Business 19 24, 82 & 271 for the purpose of 903 Concert Series, on the dates of June 23, 2022, June 30, 2022, and July 21, 2022, from 11:45 a.m. one lane for Business 82, and from 2:00 p.m. both lanes (North Plaza) and from 4:00 p.m. all other State Highways to Midnight or sooner as may be possible, and approved the original Agreement for the Temporary Closure of State Right of Way attached hereto as Exhibit A;" and WHEREAS, the on Jule: 111 2022. by Resolution No. 2022- the local government has requested that another date, ..., be added to the request for temporary road closure, at the same times as set forth in the original agreement and authorized the local government to enter into this addendum; and WHEREAS, the Event will be located within the local government's incorporated area; and WHEREAS, the State, in recognition of the public purpose of the Event, wishes to cooperate with the City so long as the safety and convenience of the traveling public is ensured and that the closure of the State's right of way will be performed within the State's requirements; and WHEREAS, 43 TAC, Section 22.12 establishes the rules and procedures for the temporary closure of a segment of the State highway system; and WHEREAS, this addendum has been developed in accordance with the rules and procedures of 43 TAC, Section 22.12; NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises and of the mutual covenants and agreements of the parties hereto, to be by them respectively kept and performed as hereinafter set forth, it is agreed as follows: Traffic Closure Incorporated (TEA30A) Page 1 of 2 Rev. 02/22/2019
